  1. actual的基本意思是“真实的”“实际的”,是针对现象而言说明事物的真实性的,即客观存在的,眼睛可以看到,耳朵可以听到,手可以摸到或者心可以知觉。actual还可表示“当前的”“现在的”,而非潜在的或想象的。
  2. actual在含义上近乎in fact,故常用来纠正一种错误看法或提出出人意料的情况。
  3. actual在句中只用作定语,不能用作表语,不用于比较等级。
  4. actual所修饰的事多是过去发生的,故通常不与表示现在时间的状语连用。
