  2. receive只是一时的动作,因此不能说I have received your letter 3 days.应该改为It is 3 days since I received your letter;
  3. receive from/of的意思是“从某处或某人那收到(款项)”,如received from/of Sam seven pounds;
  4. 在英美英语中回信中的第一句话,通常是Your letter of ... received,常省略is,has been。
receive, accept
  • Her husband did not accept〔receive〕 her story.
  • The theory was not received〔accepted〕 as truth by the broad masses of people.
  • I've received an invitation but I don't think I'll accept.
  • Though he has received several offers, he can accept only one of them.
简而言之,“accept=receive+乐意地”。
I've received your invitation.
  • receive, hear from
  • I haven't heard from him for a long time.
  • I haven't received any letters from him for several months.
  • receive, admit, take
  • accept,receive,admit,take
