  1. recommend的基本意思是“推荐,介绍”,指有意识地向某人介绍某人或某物的详细情况,其优点,侧重“使…感到可取”,即某种性质、特征等看来可爱、令人满意或受欢迎。一般用作及物动词,接名词或代词作宾语。也可接双宾语,其间接宾语可转化为介词to的宾语。
  2. recommend还可作“劝告”解,指劝告或建议某人做某事,作此解时,常用动名词或that从句作宾语,从句中的谓语动词要用虚拟语气,还可接以动词不定式充当补足语的复合宾语。
  3. 表示“把…作为…推荐”时, recommend可接以as短语充当补足语的复合宾语。
